Duncan & Freya

Duncan and Freya rolled with the 2020 punches and, with many changes along the way, they celebrated an intimate, creative lockdown wedding in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

There was laughter, sunshine and fireworks as three tables of ten enjoyed Morrocan vibes and decadent desserts in the glorious English countryside.

“Thank you for amazing contribution to Duncan & Freya’s wedding day. You never gave up on them, and the result for our family couldn’t have been better! The meal was presented BEAUTIFULLY in a fairly spectacular setting, and the food was delicious!!”

Ruth - Mother of the groom

Food

The couple requested a vegetarian feast and we were pleased to oblige. They began with focaccia from the local legend Tough Mary’s Bakehouse. Hot on its heels was a brightly coloured plate of salads, wild rice, tagines, tzatziki, hummus and olives.

They finished off the meal with a rich chocolate and honeycomb mousse with monogrammed shortbread.

Drinks

The family provided the drinks for this small wedding and we chipped in with preparing and serving the bar throughout the event, pouring champagne at all the right moments.
